Classified by UNESCO, the Calanques of Piana offer magnificent landscapes with the red cliffs with strange shapes coming from some very old volcanoes.

Day 1 Welcome to Ajaccio


We welcome you at the airport at midday and organize the transfer to the hotel in Porto.

Day 2 Capu Rossu

We transfer to the village of Piana for a visit and a hike towards Capu Rossu and Genoese tower of Thurgiu.  The panoramic views on the gulf of Porto and Calanques of Piana are stunning.

Walking duration : 3 hours /  8 km, elevation: 200 m

Day 3 Calanques of Piana

Beautiful hike among the volcanic red rocks, the porphyry. The hard rock has been sculpted by the wind and sea to create a natural work of art.

Walking duration : 4 hours / 12 km, elevation : 500 m.

Day 4 The Natural Reserve of Scandola

Transfer to Porto where we embark on a small boat to see the Natural Reserve of Scandola, the Calanques of Piana and Capo Rosso (3.5h) Afternoon: free time at the beach.

Day 5 Aitone forest

We transfer inland from Porto to the picturesque hill village  of Evisa, surrounded by the Aitone forest and mountains. We will walk 2 hours among the old Laricio pines and chestnut trees, near a beautiful river, natural pools and on a Genoese arched bridge. Return at the hotel at the end of the afternoon.

Day 6 Evisa and the Spelunca gorges

Bus transfer to Evisa: 23 km / 40 minutes
Hiking: From the village of Evisa, we will go down through the Gorges of Spelunca to reach the village of Ota. Waterfalls and natural baths will make you want to dive.
Walking duration: 5.5 hours/ 13 km, elevation: 100 m

Transfer to the airport of Ajaccio, end of the stay.

Please note: the order of the hikes can be re-arranged by the guide depending on weather conditions. Cultural visits can replace the hikes in the worst cases.
